 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the publication of books by authors ("Author" or "you") with Sahitya Samhita Books ("we," "our," "us"). By submitting your manuscript to Sahitya Samhita Books, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Manuscript Submission

• Originality: The Author warrants that the manuscript submitted is original, not previously published in its entirety or in part, and does not infringe on any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.

• Content Responsibility: The Author is solely responsible for the content of the manuscript, including any legal infringements, errors, or omissions. Sahitya Samhita Books reserves the right to reject any manuscript that does not meet our quality standards or violates legal or ethical guidelines.

2. Publication Process

• Review and Acceptance: Upon submission, the manuscript will undergo a review process. Acceptance for publication is at the sole discretion of Sahitya Samhita Books. We may suggest revisions or edits to enhance the manuscript before publication.

• Editing and Formatting: Sahitya Samhita Books will provide editing and formatting services. The Author will have the opportunity to review and approve the final version of the manuscript before publication.

• Cover Design and Layout: We will collaborate with the Author on the book cover and layout design. Final approval of the design rests with the Author.

3. Publication Rights

• Grant of Rights: By submitting the manuscript, the Author grants Sahitya Samhita Books the exclusive right to publish, distribute, and sell the book in both print and digital formats worldwide. This includes the right to reproduce, display, and distribute the book in formats such as paperback, hardcover, and eBook.

• Author’s Rights: The Author retains the copyright to the manuscript. However, the Author agrees not to publish or permit others to publish the manuscript in any format or medium during the term of this agreement without prior written consent from Sahitya Samhita Books.

4. Royalties and Payments

• Royalty Structure: Sahitya Samhita Books will pay the Author royalties based on net sales of the book. The specific royalty rate and payment terms will be detailed in a separate agreement provided upon acceptance of the manuscript.

• Payment Terms: Royalties will be calculated and paid on a [monthly/quarterly/annual] basis. Payments will be made via [Insert Payment Method], and the Author is responsible for any associated taxes or fees.

5. Marketing and Promotion

• Marketing Efforts: Sahitya Samhita Books will engage in reasonable marketing and promotional efforts to promote the book. This may include online marketing, social media campaigns, and listing the book on various retail platforms.

• Author’s Participation: The Author is encouraged to participate in marketing activities, including book signings, interviews, and promoting the book on social media. Participation is voluntary but recommended.

6. Termination

• Termination by Sahitya Samhita Books: We reserve the right to terminate this agreement at any time if the Author breaches these Terms, or if the manuscript is found to violate legal or ethical standards.

• Termination by Author: The Author may terminate this agreement by providing written notice to Sahitya Samhita Books. Upon termination, all rights granted to Sahitya Samhita Books will revert to the Author, except for those necessary to fulfill existing orders and commitments.

7. Liability and Indemnification

• Indemnification: The Author agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sahitya Samhita Books, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the publication of the manuscript, including but not limited to claims of defamation, copyright infringement, and breach of contract.

• Limitation of Liability: Sahitya Samhita Books shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the publication of the Author's book.

8. Dispute Resolution

• Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction].
